Animals and Pests
In the case of finding a Pest:
- Identify pest
- Check to see if appropriate resources are available onsite to rid pest
- Keep an eye on affected area for 24 hours
- If issue persists notify Manager, who will contact the Owner
Animal:
- All animals inside Preschool grounds will be inaccessible to children, unless with adult supervision
- Special care will be taken when handling animals, and hands will be washed after handling
- All animals/creatures at Little Rock Preschool shall be treated with care and respect and have their basic needs attended to
- Safe, appropriate housing will be provided
- Appropriate food and bedding (if necessary) will be provided
- Water will be available at all times
- Animals will be cleaned out on a regular basis (e.g. once or twice a week) and gloves will be used
- Dogs may be permitted on Preschool grounds (for educational purposes only) but must have Management approval
